Senior Spotlight Ty Friedman  Class of 2022

​Ty is a third year level 10 here at Dynamic. He enjoys all six events and is especially strong on parallel bars, rings, and vault. Yamawaki's on rings and Tippelt's on parallel bars are among his favorite skills. His laid out Kasamatsu vault is an impressive display of the power he can create. 
Ty's drive and determination know no limits. He is a high achiever in every area of his life. Ty has managed to maintain a perfect GPA throughout his high school career, scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, is a National Merit Commended Scholar, 2019 Science Student of the Year, 2021 Social Studies Student of the Year, and is currently enrolled in four AP classes. Ty also earned a wrestling state championship title, is ASB class president, a member of the National Honor Society, Homecoming Committee, Prom Committee, Robotics and Rocket Club, Washington State Student Equity Cohort, and the Washington State Student Voice and Advisory Council. 
Ty is a great leader, teammate, and coachable athlete. He aspires to continue his gymnastics career in college as he pursues a degree in the computer sciences.
